Hanham Toddlers Pre-School is an Ofsted registered, charity run organisation, formed in 1960, and is believed to be the oldest in the country. There are currently allocations for up to six groups distributed throughout the week (details of times of the sessions are available on request). Visits from prospective parents are welcomed at any time during the session. A copy of our most recent Ofsted report is available on line on the Ofsted website, or a copy is available from on us on request.
The aim of the Pre-School is to provide a happy and caring environment where children learn to play, gain social skills and become confident individuals and independent learners. In order to achieve this aim, a long term curriculum has been designed to be interesting and relevant to all the children. The curriculum encompasses the six Early Learning Goals through the Early Learning Years Foundation Stage Framework for children from birth to five as dictated by the Department of Education and Skills. Within this environment children will gain confidence in the basic tasks that will assist them in their transition to school.
